Peter F. Ferracuti
Since 1983, Attorney Peter F. Ferracuti has been listed in several editions of the national publication, "Best Lawyers in America", being 1 of only 18 civil litigation attorneys similarly recognized from the State of Illinois in that publication. Attorney Peter F. Ferracuti has had extensive experience in the labor law field, currently representing several unions. The major clientele of his firm are working people, with the firm essentially representing individuals rather than corporations or insurance companies. He is an active member of the American Association for Justice, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Workers' Compensation Lawyers of America.
Attorney Peter F. Ferracuti graduated in the upper 3% of his class from the University of Illinois, School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, with a double major in Political Science and Psychology. Thereafter, he received his law degree from the University of Illinois Law School. Immediately thereafter, he was licensed to practice in the State of Illinois.
Attorney Peter F. Ferraucti is a life member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. This honor is limited to Attorneys who have won multi-million dollar verdicts, awards and settlements. Fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers are members.
Attorney Peter F. Ferracuti is married to Janis Ferracuti and is the father of three children.
Jennifer L. Kiesewetter
Jennifer Kiesewetter has been an associate attorney with the Law Offices of Peter F. Ferracuti since the fall of 2004. She was licensed in the State of Illinois in November 2004 and the Federal Court of the Northern District of Illinois in February 2005.
She grew up in Washburn, a small village in central Illinois. Jennifer graduated magna cum laude from Eureka College in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, a minor in Spanish, and a concentration in Political Science. She then graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law with her juris doctor in May 2004.
She is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the LaSalle County Bar Association.
Since 2007, Jennifer has been appointed as a member of the Illinois State Bar Association Workers' Compensation Section Counsel. She is published in the September 2007 issue of the Section Counsel newsletter in an article discussing employment termination and entitlement to temporary total disability benefits. She has also presented a seminars, including a presentation in October 2008 entitled Vocational Rehabilitation: From Hunter to the Present and as a participant of a mock arbitration hearing in a February 2010 seminar.
Since joining the firm in 2004, Jennifer has handled primarily workers' compensation matters and has been successful with settlements, trials, and appeals at the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission, Circuit Court, and Appellate Court levels.
Julie L. Ajster
Julie L. Ajster has been a lifelong resident of the Illinois Valley. She was an Illinois General Assembly Scholar and graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor's degree in English. Ajster received her juris doctorate degree in 2002 from Southern Illinois University School of Law. She is currently a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, LaSalle County bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyer's Association, Phi Delta Phi Law Fraternity and the American Bar Association.
Upon being admitted to practice law in Illinois, she has concentrated her practice of law to the area of personal injury, including automobile accidents, construction accidents and premise liability cases. She is an experienced negotiator, litigator and trial attorney. She has appeared and practiced law in twenty-six Illinois counties. She argued in Federal Court and has handled appeals in the First, Second and Third Appellate Courts.
Thomas M. Strow
Tommy is an Ottawa native and cum laude graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law. While at U of I he was a member of the National Moot Court Team and recipient of the Rickert Award for Excellence in Oral Advocacy. He also received recognition as Best Oralist in the Frederick Green Moot Court Honorary Round Competition and earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for his studies in Philosophy of Law. He is also a graduate of Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana, where he double-majored in Philosophy and Religious Studies.
His first legal work was as a volunteer for the Champaign County CASA, an organization dedicated to advocating the interests of abused and neglected children. He also interned with the Association of Defence Counsel at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, located in The Hague, Netherlands.
Tommy joined the Law Offices of Peter F. Ferracuti, P.C. in January 2006. He concentrates in civil litigation and appellate work, as well as in workers' compensation. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and serves on the Board of Directors for the LaSalle County CASA.
Jane M. Ryan
Jane M. Ryan joined the Law Offices of Peter Ferracuti in September of 2007. Originally from Orland Park, Illinois, Attorney Ryan graduated from Purdue University with honors and distinction, having double majored in English and Psychology. She then attended the University of Illinois College of Law where she received her Juris Doctorate and was a member of the Trial Team and competed nationally.
Currently, Attorney Ryan handles personal injury cases, workers' compensation cases, in addition to real estate and probate matters. She focuses her workers' compensation practice to the Joliet, Kankakee, and Galesburg venues and has had successes at the arbitration, Commission, and Circuit Court levels of practice. She is also the attorney for the Village of Leonore.
Morgan C. Klein
While the crux of Morgan’s practice focuses on the representation of injured clients before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, she also handles a variety of additional matters in other areas of law, including claims related to employment, contracts, family disputes, and Social Security Disability benefits.
Morgan earned her law degree cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law and graduated magna cum laude from Illinois State University with a double major in economics and political science. As a policy debate team member in college and moot court finalist in law school, Morgan began her track record of successful advocacy long before she became an attorney.
Morgan is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Professional affiliations include the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois State Bar Association, American Bar Association, LaSalle County Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, and Rotary International.
